WannaDate? Anti-Trafficking Policy
Last updated July 2, 2026
WannaDate? is an 18+ social dating platform. Human trafficking, sex trafficking, and exploitation are strictly prohibited.
ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY
WannaDate? has zero tolerance for human trafficking, sex trafficking, coercion, exploitation, prostitution, escorting, paid or transactional dating, or any illegal sexual-services activity. WannaDate? is a platform for lawful social dating connections between consenting adults only.
These prohibitions track federal law, including the sex-trafficking statute at 18 U.S.C. § 1591 and the prohibition on promoting or facilitating prostitution at 18 U.S.C. § 2421A (added by the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act / Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act, or "FOSTA-SESTA"). Consistent with 47 U.S.C. § 230(e)(5), nothing limits the enforcement of federal or state sex-trafficking law against us or any user.
Accounts suspected of serious violations may be suspended immediately while we investigate, and relevant records are preserved for law enforcement.
DETECTION AND ESCALATION
We review user reports, support submissions, and moderation signals for potential exploitation or trafficking indicators. Our automated chat moderation blocks high-risk solicitation and explicit financial-negotiation patterns before messages are stored, and automated content scanning may flag suspicious profiles and messages for human review. We do not perform criminal background checks on members. Repeated reports against the same account trigger automatic review and suspension thresholds.
Where trafficking or exploitation is suspected (not merely a policy violation), we suspend the account, preserve relevant content and data without deletion, and escalate to a designated decision-maker to determine whether to contact law enforcement and/or file a report with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
LAW ENFORCEMENT COOPERATION
When we have a reasonable belief of trafficking, exploitation, or related criminal activity, we may contact law enforcement and cooperate as required or permitted by law.
We preserve relevant account and message data for legal process and safety investigations, and we may decline to notify a user of a law-enforcement request where doing so would compromise an investigation or is prohibited by law.
PROTECTION OF MINORS AND CSAM REPORTING
WannaDate? is strictly 18+. Where we obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the exploitation of a minor on or through the platform, we make the reports required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A to the NCMEC CyberTipline, preserve the associated content and identifiers as required by law, and cooperate with law enforcement.
